Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Becky Tunstall Marketing (“I”, “me”, “my”) collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you visit rebeccatunstall.com or get in touch through the enquiry form on this site. It’s written to comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

1. Who I am

Becky Tunstall Marketing is a sole-trader marketing consultancy based in London, UK. For the purposes of data protection law, I am the “data controller” of the personal data described in this policy.

2. What data I collect

When you use the enquiry form on this site, I collect your name, email address, brand or business name (optional), the content of your enquiry message, and your consent to be contacted, recorded at the time you submit the form.

I don’t currently use analytics, tracking cookies, or third-party advertising tools on this site. If that changes in future, this policy will be updated to reflect it, and a cookie banner will be added where legally required.

3. Why I collect it, and my lawful basis

Responding to your enquiry

Name, email, brand/business, message — Legitimate interest

Contacting you about my services

Name, email, brand/business — Consent, given via the form checkbox

Record-keeping

Name, email, message history — Legitimate interest

I only use your details for marketing outreach if you’ve actively ticked the consent box when submitting the form. I don’t buy, sell, or acquire contact lists from third parties, and I don’t add anyone to marketing communications without their own direct consent.

4. How long I keep your data

Enquiries that don’t lead to further contact are kept for up to 12 months, then deleted. Ongoing client or prospect relationships are kept for the duration of that relationship, plus a reasonable period afterward for legitimate business and accounting purposes — typically up to 6 years, in line with UK tax record-keeping requirements where relevant. You can ask me to delete your data sooner at any time — see Section 7.

5. Who I share your data with

I don’t sell or rent your personal data to anyone. Your data may be processed by my email provider (to send and receive correspondence) and my website host/platform. I do not share your data with advertisers, marketing platforms, or any other third party for their own purposes.

6. International transfers

If this site’s contact form is hosted through a third-party platform that processes or stores data outside the UK, that provider is responsible for ensuring appropriate safeguards are in place. I only use reputable platforms that publish their own data protection commitments.

7. Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your data, withdraw consent at any time, request data portability, and complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk if you believe your data hasn’t been handled properly.

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@beckytunstallmarketing.com. I’ll respond within one month, as required by law.

8. How your data is kept secure

I take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect your data from unauthorised access, loss, or misuse — including using secure, reputable email and hosting providers and limiting access to your data to myself only.

9. Children’s data

This site and its services are aimed at businesses and professionals. I don’t knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

10. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top will always reflect the most recent version.
